Ways to Stop Max Verstappen (My Opinion)

Thanks to Drive to Survive and the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix (the race before the infamous Abu Dhabi Grand Prix). Also, Youtube channels of WTF1 before Matt and Tommy left, Matt and Tommy F1, Josh Revell, FP1 Will, RocketPoweredHohawk who reminders me of UrinatingTree a little bit, Black Flags Matter at times (he's mostly a NASCAR youtuber but he does post F1 vids), among others I started to become a fan of Formula One Racing and it also partly responsible for liking NASCAR again. Formula One since being brought Liberty Media, they have made a priority to increase popularity in the United States which included Drive to Survive. I know a number of the hardcore hate Drive to Survive because it isn't all that accurate and all that and yeah. It is a Reality TV show, more than likely it's not going to be 100 percent. I wish it was that's another topic for another post. The show has to do something right since they also have Golf, Tennis, and Tour of France versions of Dr...

Who will be the Bucs next Hall of Famer?

Ronde Barber became the sixth Hall of Famer in Bucs History and the fourth player from the mid-90s to mid-2000s teams and that's not counting coach Tony Dungy. I was thinking who will be the next Bucs player to be in the Hall of Fame. Sadly, it would be Offensive Tackle Paul Gruber because he didn't go to the Pro Bowl and one needs to be named to a Pro Bowl team at least once. That's a shame, especially with Joe Thomas from the Browns who like Gruber was a top-five pick out of Wisconsin. Thomas was named to the Pro Bowl 10 times on bad Browns teams like how Gruber played on some bad Bucs teams. However, Gruber did see some playoff success or playoffs in general in 1997 and 1999 unlike his fellow Badger. On to the list. Mike Evans: Too soon? He does have over 10 thousand receiving yards and over 80 touchdowns and has the longest streak of 1,000 receiver yards or more to begin a career with nine. I think it's more of a question of when not if. Also, will he continue his s...

Bye Bye Pac-12

I think it's all but over for the Pacific 12 with four teams still remaining for now though California and Stanford are having talks with the ACC of all places. Ok more like it's close to be over for the Pac-12 unless something happens at the last minute. Really an East Coast Conference in talks with two West Coast teams? What next? Washington State and Oregon State in talks with the SEC? As an SEC fan, no they shouldn't join the SEC. They should join the Big Ten with Oregon and Washington. Don't worry WSU and OSU, USF fans can relate. It started last year when two of the Pac-12 biggest school USC and UCLA joined the Big Ten. Then this summer Colorado rejoined the Big 12 after a dozen years in the Pac-12 followed by Washington and Oregon joining the Big Ten. The Pac-12 in hopes to keep everyone else got a deal with Apple TV. That didn't work as Arizona, Arizona State, and Utah left for the Big 12. Seriously those conferences really need to change their names because...

How about that? Days of Thunder 2 will happen

Do a post about my version of Days of Thunder 2 and less than a year later, news comes out that Tom Cruise is working to get Days of Thunder 2 off the ground. However, it's going to be a while because the director he working with of Days of Thunder 2 is Joseph Kosinski who is currently working on Apex or that Brad Pitt F1 movie that shot scenes in Silverstone last weekend. So Days of Thunder 2 wouldn't start shooting into next year probably, hopefully before Tom Cruise promotes the shit out of his Mission Impossible 8 movie next summer. Also, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One aka Mission Impossible 7 is coming out with some great reviews, so if you're interested, check it out. That Apex movie could help Days of Thunder 2 granted if Apex is a good movie. It's too soon to say, it helps having Lewis Hamilton, one of the best Formula 1 drivers of all time, being a producer of the Apex movie (again unsure if the title Apex will stick or not). I wonder if Lewis Hami...

All-Time NCIS squads

After over 40 seasons and nearly 1,000 episodes and four series and one on the way, NCIS is one of the biggest TV Franchises out there only getting beat by Law and Order. I began to think to why not have an all-time NCIS squad. Well ended up thinking of two different squads. My all-time squad and a hardcore squad. The rules I had for myself were that the squad would at least have someone who at least was a main character for a least a full season and at least have someone in each of the four series (at least for my squad picks) and also I included Medical Examiner and Tech Person with Director Vance leading the way. Ducky would be the ME and Ernie as the tech person and Abby as the Forensic Specialist. Both squads will have five agents each, I know I probably should have stopped at four especially since the current shows have four per team (With Hawaii, it's closer to 4.5 with Kate Whistler there but she's with the FBI so she doesn't count, yet). It's tricky, NCIS had s...

Crazy Idea: There needs to be a Video Game with the USFL, XFL, and the NFL all in one

I don't know if it would happen, I doubt Madden would add the 17 total teams from both the USFL and the XFL but let's say EA Sports does it. You know how they have a Franchise Mode or NFL SuperStar Mode now called the Face of the Franchise Mode? My suggestion would be Road to the NFL Mode where players can choose between NFL Practice Squad or any of the 17 USFL/XFL Teams. If a player selects any of the XFL/USFL teams they go straight to the season of their perspective leagues. If a  player chooses NFL practice squad, they can practice to improve one's ratings at practice and maybe get a chance at a promotion to the active roster but I would have it that it would be better to play in the other leagues to improve one's ratings but if the creators of the game have other ideas that's OK as well. I would have it that a player would need to play at least 2-3 seasons in both the USFL/XFL before joining the NFL. Practice squad closer to 3-4 seasons before coming to the acti...

Cases for and against some of these USFL teams returning

Since the league restarted last year, nine teams from the regular USFL returned granted one of them the Memphis Showboats took the place of the Tampa Bay Bandits who are on hiatus as of now. Really hope that the Bandits do come back. In the last post, I said that both the XFL and the USFL should increase the league by adding four more teams and that both leagues should have 12 weeks. Unsure if either league would do that but let's say they do and Fox doesn't shut down the league because Fox News lied about Dominion Voting and need to pay them nearly 800 million dollars who would be my choice besides the Bandits because you know I would what them to come back. Other Teams I picked are the Denver Gold, LA Express, Oakland Invaders, Jacksonville Bulls, San Antonio Gunslingers (under a new name), and Orlando Renegades. You know what, I'll throw the Washington Federals and see who my top three picks are (my fourth is the Bandits). A case for all eight teams is they're not re...
