How about that? Days of Thunder 2 will happen

Do a post about my version of Days of Thunder 2 and less than a year later, news comes out that Tom Cruise is working to get Days of Thunder 2 off the ground. However, it's going to be a while because the director he working with of Days of Thunder 2 is Joseph Kosinski who is currently working on Apex or that Brad Pitt F1 movie that shot scenes in Silverstone last weekend. So Days of Thunder 2 wouldn't start shooting into next year probably, hopefully before Tom Cruise promotes the shit out of his Mission Impossible 8 movie next summer. Also, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One aka Mission Impossible 7 is coming out with some great reviews, so if you're interested, check it out. That Apex movie could help Days of Thunder 2 granted if Apex is a good movie. It's too soon to say, it helps having Lewis Hamilton, one of the best Formula 1 drivers of all time, being a producer of the Apex movie (again unsure if the title Apex will stick or not). I wonder if Lewis Hamilton would join in Days of Thunder 2 to work with his buddy Cruise. Maybe not as a producer but who knows especially how well Apex is, I'm sure Hamilton will love to venture to other things outside of racing a car. Got to have a retirement plan. At least have Hamilton have a cameo along with other F1 drivers, in my previous post I did suggest they have F1 drivers to interview for a seat at Cole Trickle Racing. Who would all return from the first movie? I would like to see John C Reilly come back as the crew chief of the main driver. Michael Rooker would be a nice choice to come back and why not have Cary Elwes come back as well especially since Elwes is working with Cruise on Mission Impossible 7. Maybe Robert Duvall but he's 92 so he's unlikely. What's Days of Thunder 2 going to be? I don't know, I do like my idea of it being an open-wheel driver getting a chance in NASCAR. In the previous post, I said it should be a Formula E driver who raced in Formula 1 and is European. I stand like to see it happen like that but it might be closer to an Indy car driver like Cole Trickle was or have a Supercar driver like Shane van Gisbergen who won the Chicago Street Race. I think NASCAR should return to Chicagoland Speedway not another Chicago Street Race but that's my opinion. Another option would be Cole Trickle still racing. Unlikely but We're never know until the project is off the ground. It would be interesting with Cole still racing dusting drivers like Kyle Larson and Chase Elliott. I'm sure we would see Days of Thunder 2 when it comes out in theaters. Also, I wonder if Tom Cruise would try an F1 movie. He was raced in an F1 car and he's friends with Lewis and Toto Wolff and is not much older than Brad Pitt, Just saying.
