     With the ways things are heading it looks like Colin Kaepernick will be heading towards year three year out of the NFL and I blame conservatives for this. OK, Kaepernick isn't innocent in this but like or not he was expressing his first amendment right and Conservatives (with Fox News leading the way) took joy in destroying this guy's career pushing their agenda that he was disrespecting the troops like they pushed Obama was a secret Muslim and the birther movement, Seth Rich being killed by Clinton's people, Jeffery Epstein being killed by Clinton's people, Death Panels among others. Also, they supported Nick Bosa after some of his tweets came out in public and were considered racist. So it's OK for an NFL Player to being racist, beating people outside the game/field especially women, busted with drugs and/or weapons and alleged rapists but taking a knee during the anthem is too far.      I found out this news Saturday night while I was working (actually on a break) and saw on my phone that Andrew Luck, the quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts was going to retire. Honestly, I was surprised OK not much of a shocker because it was a surprise to most people. Luck was heading towards his 7th season (not counting the 2017 season because he missed that season due to his shoulder injury on his throwing side) where he was Comeback Player of the Year last season. Granted there were questions about his calf and if he was going to be healthy to start the season or not however this announcement his career is over. Jacoby Brissett is now the starting quarterback for the Colts and yes he does have experience. It started with the Patriots in 2016 when he started for them for two games when Tom Brady was suspended (deflate-gate anyone) and Jimmy Garoppolo was injured and went 1-1.      It seems to be a daily occurrence that Trump accuses the media of being the enemy of the people, Fake News, lying about him. Yeah, I think you get the point. Heck, even he's turning on Fox News who were his biggest supporters. Even before he was president, even before he was candidate Trump, and probably even before he considered running for president he had a testy relationship with the media when he was Mr. Big Shot or Mr. Celebrity or Mr. Celebrity Big Shot. Especially after seeing a miniseries about him called Trump: The American Dream on Netflix (worth the watch). He has issues with the media during the 1980s and the 1990s especially after his divorce with the first wife, having issues with a magazine calling him a short-fingered Vulgarian to the point he sents pictures of his hands (hopefully he's not sending pics of his dicks to the same guy, I would feel bad for that guy or anyone getting dick pics of Trump's penis).      I just want to clarify I'm talking about the show, not the Real NCIS which the show is about though there is/was a show where they do cover actually cases of the Real NCIS, a part of the 48 Hours show narrated by Rocky Carroll who plays Director. I know I don't talk a lot about pop culture other than the Challenge and comedy shows. I enjoy watching the NCIS shows (NCIS, Los Angeles, and New Orleans) though those shows has had its problems with New Orleans had not one but two show frontrunners being forced out because of the #MeToo Movement, also they're considering from New Orleans because of Louisiana's abortion law, and there's NCIS with Mark Harmon, his dog, and Bitegate I'll say. Harmon likes to bring his pitbull on set, OK no problem probably not uncommon for actors to bring their pets to sets, however Harmon's dog bit a crew member and even after that Mark kept bringing his dog to the set.      As you know from some of my posts I am a fan of the Challenge on MTV. The new season is coming up and I'm not sure I want to see it (OK I probably will since it starts August 28th with nothing really on TV). Not thrilled with the cast, I miss it when it was between two shows and only two shows which were the Real World and Road Rules. I know since Road Rules went good-bye in 2007 and Real World was struggling for a time and put on life support until recently. So the Challenge needed new blood with Fresh Meat, and then Are You The One people showed up then the other reality shows from other channels and other countries. Last season, was the first team that a non-Real World, Road Rules/Challenge personality won the challenge solo in Turbo from Survivor Turkey (yes I know Hunter won the challenge in season 32 though he did it with a Real World alum Ashley M, sadly for him).      How many mass shootings is it going to take for Congress to pass legislation on gun control? We had 22 die in El Paso and 9 die in Dayton in mass shootings over the weekend and that's not counting the Garlic Festival where three people died (including two kids) a few weeks ago. For the record, I can't blame this solely on the Republicans because I'm sure Democrats have an equal amount of blame because they're been in power and done nothing to stop this. Plus the NRA pays politicians on both parties and yes I'm going to say it, Liberals have been shooters as well. The Dayton guy was liberal and so was the guy who shot at Republican lawmakers wounding one of them while they were practicing for a baseball game and yet nothing was done about it.      Sadly, it's at least a weekly event where Trump says some stupid shit on twitter (OK more like he tweets it), we get outraged, The GOP and Fox News and his braindead supporters still defend him and so on and so on.
