     I'm sure this ain't much a surprise because those Asshole Republicans have the majority but Brent Kavanaugh has been confirmed. I know some of us was holding out hope (I was until the second to last vote when Collins and Flakey confirm they were voting for him). I'm sorry but really? I wish those saw through the limited FBI Investigation. That Investigation had more holes than the Buccaneers Defense (and that's saying a lot). The tone deafness of the GOP is sickening. Also, that "investigation" they didn't investigate Kavanaugh on possible perjury charge lying about his drinking. He claimed under oath mind you, that he didn't get that drunk in high school and in college but according to his own yearbook quotes and some witness from his school days said differently and yet no investigation on Kavanaugh for perjury.      I'm guessing the Republicans are only the party for Law and Order when only Democrats are the ones committing crimes (or should I said accused of committing crimes). When it's the Republicans committing the crime (or should I said accused of committing crimes) it's he/she is lying, the Democrats are ruining his life/making this up, witch hunt, no collusion, and a hoax. Did I forget anything? I think I covered it all. I'm sorry (OK not really) but if there are accusations on either side then a law enforcement agency should investigate not only believe the accusers if they accuse Democrats of crimes and call the accuser liars if they accuse Republicans of crimes. Crimes aren't only committed by Democrats and I wish someone would tell Rick and Pam Crow that (Rick Scott and Pam Bondi) before denying the rights of ex-cons who already served their time which was highlighted by John Oliver on his show last week.      Yes, I'm going to talk about Colin Kaepernick and his deal with Nike. I know I'll a little late to the party but it's still an issue like why Kaepernick hasn't gotten a contract offer. People are burning their Nike stuff, a city in Louisana (Kenner City) is banning Nike products from its city, and a college (College of the Ozarks) deciding country over company when the strip Nike products over Kaepernick being in the ad. With the president of the school saying that Nike is promoting an attitude of division and disrespect toward America and if Nike is ashamed of this country, we are ashamed of them. No Jerry Davis, Donald Trump promoting an attitude of division in America. Also, College of the Ozarks is forcing their student-athletes to stand for the anthem.      I know I'm late to this but wanted to give tribute to Florida's adopted son Burt Reynolds who died on September 6th. Plus I wanted to take a little break from talk politics though he did cross paths with Donald Trump (which comes later). He was actually born in Lansing, Michigan and his family moved around quite a bit until they settled in Rivera Beach, Florida when Burt was 10 and before his death, he lived in Jupiter, Florida and Florida became his adopted home (though also lived in Hollywood for a time I'm sure). He also played a little college football with the FSU Noles and was Lee Corso roommate. He was a big supporter of FSU Football. Ironically, he played a character named Gator in a few films (White Lightning and Gator where he played Gator McKlusky). In Gator, he gave his mentor and guy who inspired him to be an actor Watson B.      I think things have been divisive the last couple years or so. I will admit I am not helping things with my liberal crap and trashing Republican Leaders but I think one of the few things we agree on his 9/11 was a horrible tragedy and we want to be protected from another 9/11 from occurring. I wasn't planning to do a 9/11 post but here I am and also, I'm trying not to go political on this post and also I'm, trying to nice on this post as well (except for those assholes who hijacked the planes and crashed into the towers, Pentagon, and who were about to attack the White House and of course Osama Bin Laden because screw them).      It seems like that 2018 is the year of the upset especially in politics. Then again, it started probably in 2017 with governor's race in Virginia where Ralph Northam beat Ed Gillespie and then the US Senate in Alabama where Doug Jones beat a guy who got banned from a Alabama mall Roy Moore. OK probably calling that Virginia Governor's race an upset is probably an overstatement but US Senate race in Alabama wasn't because Alabama hardly elected Democrats. Anyone seen that clip from Sacha Baron Cohen's Who is America? where he interviewed Moore and thing beeped at Moore for being a pedophile (or should I said alleged Pedophile, probably depends if you want to go there or not).
