Not a Surprised but still sad
I'm sure this ain't much a surprise because those Asshole Republicans have the majority but Brent Kavanaugh has been confirmed. I know some of us was holding out hope (I was until the second to last vote when Collins and Flakey confirm they were voting for him). I'm sorry but really? I wish those saw through the limited FBI Investigation. That Investigation had more holes than the Buccaneers Defense (and that's saying a lot). The tone deafness of the GOP is sickening. Also, that "investigation" they didn't investigate Kavanaugh on possible perjury charge lying about his drinking. He claimed under oath mind you, that he didn't get that drunk in high school and in college but according to his own yearbook quotes and some witness from his school days said differently and yet no investigation on Kavanaugh for perjury. Yeah because a judge lying under oath is a quality that you would want in a supreme court justice if you're a Republican leader just as long he's (or she's) is not a Democrat or even an independent. Heck, I think Matt Damon playing Brent Kavanaugh on Saturday Night Live was more truthful than the real guy. If a Democrat had accusers, we must listen to the victims and he needs to go but with a Republican it's she's lying and his reputation is being destroyed and it's affecting him and his family. In fairness, just because Brent Kavanaugh is/was a drunken rapist asshole (excuse me a drunken asshole who could be an alleged rapist) doesn't mean the family needs to pay the price. I shouldn't pick on Mrs. Kavanaugh and their kids for the actions of Mr. Kavanaugh. Just like families of Republicans Senators and Traitor Joe Manchin shouldn't pay the price of the actions of their loved one, even Bitch McConnell's wife who actually is on the cabinet position in the Trump Administration should be left alone unless she cuts the department she's overseeing and decides to spent wildly on personal purchases like some of her fellow cabinet member past or present had done though those would be her actions and not her husbands. If I was a Republican senator who voted to confirm that asshole as a supreme court justice I would limit my public appearance for a while. Should people protest Republicans and Trump Cabinet while they're in public places? I said yes just as long as you keep it peacefully (AKA NO VIOLENCE). Also, if your a member of the GOP and Trump cabinet I suggest (why do I bother but I'm going to suggest anyway) LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE HECKLE IN A RESTAURANT. I should point out that Susan Collins isn't the only female Republican senator to vote in that drunken jackass. Four other women (Joni Ernst of Iowa, Cindy Hyde-Smith of Mississippi, Deb Fischer of Nebraska, and Shelley Moore Capito of West Virginia) did as well. Also, if you're wondering only one female Republican senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska didn't vote for the jackass. Also, I'm wondering if the Wall Street Journal Op-ed from Brent Kavanaugh got him votes though it seemed like most of the GOP Senators already had their decisions made. I'm mad at Flakey, Collins, and the Republican female minus Murkowski but in all honesty, the majority of the hate should lay the Republican leadership which includes Bitch McConnell and even before them blocking Obama's Supreme Court pick Merrick Garland (I wonder how he's doing, I know Republicans don't give a shit about him, his reputation, or his family). When Barack Obama was elected, Republican Leadership which included Bitch McConnell and Paul Ryan colluded with each other to make Obama a one-term president. Well, they failed there but still manage to hijack the country (TOO FAR?) even if it meant hurting millions of people. They are putting party over country and that's wrong (even if it's the Democrats doing this it still would be wrong) and they supported alleged sexual predators in Trump, Roy Moore, and Kavanaugh and looked the other way but also came out sexual predators on the left. Go after sexual predators on both sides not go after them just because they're on the opposite side. If you're tired of the Republican hypocrisy then vote those bastards out. Do it by mail, early voting, or vote on election day (November 6th). I don't care how you do but as Nike would say: JUST DO IT!
