Welcome to the Formula One Grid Logan Sargeant
I got into Formula One thanks to Netflix's series Drive to Survive and I saw the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix on ESPN where Lewis Hamilton won which as of now after the 2022 season is Hamilton's last win. Since Drive to Survive, I've been hooked. Watching the races when I can and watching Youtube videos by WTF1 and Josh Revell among others and it's not just me. Other Americans have been flocking to the sport probably since Liberty Media bought F1 and again Drive to Survive. Prior to that, well not so much. Even though the previous owner of Formula One Bernie Ecclestone tried to make it work a number of times including having three American races in 1982 (Detroit, Long Beach, and Vegas). He also tried Dallas and Phoenix but no luck. Well, there was the Indianapolis 500 but after the 2005 race where only six drivers raced because the Michelin tire teams retired because the tires wore out faster than the Bridgestone drivers and the FIA didn't do anything to adjust thi...
