The Bucs have had an interesting offseason

Good thing there's been the NFL Offseason to get us through during this pandemic with no sports or that much entertainment with most shows ending early (there's still some stuff out like the Masked Singer and the Challenge though I haven't watched that much, I know odd of me since I've talked about it a few times on this blog), also the Last Dance about the 1990's Chicago Bulls airing on ESPN. Also, the Korean Baseball League started their spring training so there's hope for the MLB following suit. No one has had an interesting offseason quite like the Buccaneers. OK you can make the case for the Texans and Cardinals for the Deandre Hopkins trade. Seriously, why did Bill O'Brien make that trade? Anyway, we got Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski. Also, there are players from the draft like First Rounder Tristan Wirfs an Offensive Lineman from Iowa who gave his mom a red carpet to walk on. Also, there's DB Antonie Winfield Jr whose dad intercepted Tom Brady...

We shouldn't be killing people for the ecomony

I get it people, we all want to return to business as usual. We all want to go back to our jobs, life before the Coronavirus pandemic happened. However, I don't believe we should do it until the number of new cases goes down significantly. However, people either aren't listening, they just don't care, think that was pandemic is a hoax (apparently something is a hoax just because something is happening under Trump as president) to the point where the Trumpers (Trumpturds if you want to go there) are protesting stay at home orders in a few states and Trump tweeting liberate Michigan, Minnesota, and Virginia adding to the Virginia tweet to defending their second amendment right. It sounds like a threat to me. I saw a clip of Facebook from Occupy Democrats that one of the protesters was protesting because he couldn't give a damn burger. Hey Asshole, Yes you can. It's called Ubereats, Grubhub, Doordash, Postmates, and other food delivery apps that could give him a d...

Should Carole Baskin get the benefit of the doubt?

Hey, you cool cats and kittens, I hope you're still sane during these trying times. Yes, I went there with the intro. I decided to go there. Anyway, I wanted to talk about more about Tiger King and yes Carole Baskin. Yes, I still believe she killed her husband (at least for now). She did come out with an interview saying after the Tiger King, she has gotten death threats and drones have flown into Big Cat Rescue and she and Howard (her current husband) felt betrayed by the director of Tiger King. Also, I'm surprised no one has broken into Big Cat Rescue to find the body of Don Lewis. Then again, there are tigers there so it would be enter in your own risk. Also, Sheriff Chad Chronister (or as I like to call him Sheriff Situation because he looks like the Situation from Jersey Shore, I can not be the only one who thinks that) has reopened the case and says he believes Don Lewis was killed. I get it no one wants to be accused of murder for the most part (unless they said it ...

To the Bernie Supporters and Independents: Vote for Biden

I hate to say vote for Biden or else we will get four more years of Trump but I believe that's where we are going if you guys refuse to support Biden because Bernie dropped out of the race. Honestly, I thought he would keep going to it seems our Healthcare system is taking a hit or several with the coronavirus. Though I'm sure most countries (if not all) are experiencing similar hits to their Healthcare system as well. I'll admit I voted for Biden over Bernie. It was a tough call for me, probably more so than other elections I've voted for. I was considering voting for Bernie but with Biden winning Primaries in South Carolina and most states in Super Tuesday, I just went with Biden. I think if I voted a day or so later, I probably would have voted for Bernie because that's when things started to head towards the direction where we are now with stay at home orders and social distancing. I know Biden is the choice for most Democrats who supported the 20 other can...

150th post

This is my 150th post since I started this blog. I started mostly talk about politics because I attempted to run against Kathy Castor in the primary for the US Congress where I didn't qualify to be on the ballot. Will I run again? Never say Never. I've been on and off with this post for a few reasons mostly working two jobs and more than likely not wanting to do anything after work with the expectation of Kickball. No wonder my social life was limited even for the CoronaVirus pandemic hit. Now I have an excuse, well except for the time I work for my essential retail job (My other job is on hiatus). I said it a few times but I'll ask it again. I had plans in March that were canceled and I probably won't play kickball until either the summer or the fall. I've been thinking about what to write about on my 150th post. In the beginning, I talk politics because again I was running for office and I talked about what I was going to do when I took office. I still talked...

Baseball to come back in May?

It's been nearly a month since the NBA suspended operations and a day later every other league/NCAA/minors followed suit. Since then, it's been a whole lotta nothing. Well except for the NFL offseason which is the only thing going on with offseason moves like the Houston Texans trading away Deandre Hopkins (their best receiver) to the Arizona Cardinals for David Johnson, a second-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, and a fourth-round pick in the 2021 Draft. They better hope that either David Johnson returns to his 2016 form or one of the picks they got turns into a star otherwise this is a bad trade. Tom Brady went to the Bucs where I am hoping he's got another season in him (whenever that will be). The NFL Draft will take place on time (April 23rd-25th) despite some calls to delay it but Commissioner Goodell would have none of all, even going on to threaten fines and/or suspension.  The sports stations have been playing some of their original programming, classic...

Hanging in There and Tiger King

That's what we have to do one way or another until the Coronavirus passes over (whenever that would be). Either April will be better or just as bad as March (or worse). I'll admit, I had plans for March (two XFL games, NBA game in Orlando, River O'Green, and Girl Scout Cookie and Beer Tasting {yes this a thing}). Those events were canceled. More than likely, I'm not going to Easter Mass and yes I know Desantis allow religious gatherings but that's not the risk I'm taking a risk for myself and others and others should put themselves in that risk for them, their family, and others as well. Churches did simulcast their service online and/or social media, do that instead. I've been either lockdown at home or working (I work at a big box retail store which is essential and after work, I've been under a scrub down policy I'll just say). I'm hoping things return to normal (whatever that would be) by June. One of the things I've watched was Tige...
