Is it Wrong for me to hope for a Victorious Reboot?
Story time, I went to North Carolina in 2011 for a family reunion and I went to visit my cousin's house who has kids they had Nickelodeon on the TV which had on Victorious and I'm guessing it was a marathon of Victorious during that time so I ended watching hours of Victorious and I guess I got looked into the show even though I was too old for the show's demographic of preteens and teens. However, not too old to date the star Victoria Justice since she dated an actor who appeared on the show who was my age during that time of the show. Teen show still have a habit of casting older people as high school students. She wasn't the only actress to date someone older on the show. Liz Gillies aka Liz is married to someone whose 20 years older than her. Anyway, after the reunion I did watch a few episodes of Victorious which aired on Saturday nights when they premiered on Nick and it was just a few. Don't know why I stopped watching the show but I stopped watching. I've watched a few episodes of shows and then stopped watching. However, I recently started seeing Victorious on Paramount+ and Youtube clips of the show, look at the channel NickRewind they have clips of shows from Nickelodeon of yesteryear. I found out Victorious didn't have a proper ending. Why? I heard some reasons why including that Ariana Grande who played Cat Valentine got her own spin-off with Jeanette McCurdy called Sam and Cat. Plus shows on Nickelodeon and Disney are hard to determine how long to last. It's not like NCIS and Law Order, you're dealing with teens getting older. Disney had a 65-episode limit though That's So Raven was an expectation. The Cast of Victorious were young adults when the show ended. I like to see a reboot of this show and why not? ICarly got a three-season reboot which recently ended, All That got a reboot, Good Burger had a sequel and might have another movie, and Zoey 101 got a reboot movie even though their star Jamie-Lynn Spears isn't that likable. You can say the same thing about Victoria Justice who also starred in Zoey 101 and both her and Spears are on Netflix stuff. If you're wondering Justice wasn't on Zoey 102 because of scheduling conflicts. Why Can't Victorious get a Reboot? It can't be because it was Dan Schneider's show because All That, Zoey 101, and ICarly were all Schneider shows and Good Burger was also a Schneider project. If you're wondering Dan Schneider was responsible for several Nickelodeon shows from 1994-2018 before he was fired for being a verbally abusive asshole and maybe other stuff like Me Too-ish stuff, some of the actresses who did his shows had complaints against him. He was a creepy guy. Actually one of his shows is still on the air (Danger Force). Why not Victorious Reboot even if it's just a single movie? Yes, one of its stars is Ariana Grande who is one of the biggest pop stars and starting in the upcoming Wicked movies so she might be the hardest one to get. Plus would Paramount+ hold a grudge against Justice for not doing the Zoey 102 movie? I hope not. I think other Victorious fans besides myself would love to see a reboot. Heck, I have a plot to suggest. My idea is Principal Sikowitz (yes I'm going there) contacts the group for a fundraising concert to save Hollywood Arts High School. You move Paramount+
Update: With the Documentary Quiet on Set that aired March 17th and 18th, I highly doubt we'll get that reboot and the same goes for other works of Schneider's.
