NFL Teams that should go back to their Throwbacks Full-Time
After some teams including the Bucs went to their throwbacks this season, I started to wonder which teams should return to their throwbacks on a full-time basis. Some have in the past like the New York Giants to some extent the Los Angeles Chargers though the Chargers modernize them. The Jets went back to the 1960s throwbacks in the 1990s only the change them four years ago to modernize versions of their 1980s uniforms. I like the 1960s ones better. Which teams in my opinion should go back to their old unis.
Philadelphia Eagles: I never understood why teams go darker with their uniforms. The Eagles are one example of this and so are the Chargers though they did go back kind of and they did keep the darker shade as alternates. Why can't the Eagles go back to Kelly Green even if they modernize them? However, I'll not too keen on modernizing uniforms why not just go back to the throwbacks like the Giants. They did bring their back for a game this season so that's a good start.
New England Patriots: Probably not going to make them more likable because of the dominance in the 2000s and the 2010s and things like Spygate. Now, people are enjoying their downfall. Ultimately, they're going to blow it up. Among the changes they should do but more than likely won't go back to is bringing back the Red and White unis with the Pat Patriot logo.
Seattle Seahawks: I hate to say this being a Bucs fan but I love the Seahawks throwback unis from 1976-2001 and I believe they're the best throwback uniforms of the NFL in my opinion. I'm sure there are people who might put the Chargers up there, Eagles, Bucs, etc. I believe they should go back to those uniforms full-time. Another time that went darker for some reason.
Los Angeles Rams: I hate the current uniforms. Sorry but I do. Get rid of them. I'm trying to figure which throwbacks they should go back to. The Deacon Jones era blue and white ones, The Eric Dickerson era blue and yellow ones, or the Greatest Show on Turf era blue and gold ones. I'm good with either opinion.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: This is 50-50 for me, I do like the current look but it's hard not to think of the creamsicles they wore their first 21 seasons and occasional appearances. I also had a thought of a couple of suggestions for alternate looks for the creamsicles. The first one would be having the current logo replace the Bucco Bruce logo on the Creamsicles. The second one would not be considered creamsicle, I would have red replace the orange as the primary color of the alternate throwbacks even though they would look similar to the Patriots throwbacks. The NHL did it, why not the NFL?
The Oilers/Titans: I would like to see the old Oilers uniforms come back but that won't happen since the Oilers are the Titans and their won't be a new team named the Oilers since the NFL and Bud Adams struck a deal to "retire" the Oilers name. However, a suggestion would be for the Titans to make Columbia Blue the primary color and go back to the white helmet. The dark blue ones aren't doing it for me, get rid of them.
Denver Broncos: I would like to see them go back to the lighter blue helmets and the orange uniforms that John Elway made famous. Also the Broncos would be another team that should go reverse retro. I would like to see the blue helmets on blue jerseys heck even the orange helmets on blue jerseys though it would be copying the Gators.
