I don't have a team to cheer for in the XFL or the USFL

I have watched both leagues since they started or re-started since both leagues started in 1983 with the USFL and the XFL in 2001. I remember seeing the original XFL when I was in High School, the USFL I didn't watch it because the league ended it's first run in 1985 when I was a baby though when I was a kid my parents bought me football blooper VHS tapes that showed USFL highlights, OK more like they're bloopers and that's how I knew about the USFL. I think the USFL would have lasted longer but most of the owners listened to a fellow owner name Trump who wanted to directly compete with the NFL by playing in the fall instead of staying in the spring. This is the guy Republicans are following? Unsure how long they would have lasted if the USFL stayed in the spring. In 2020, the XFL restarted with Vince McMahon once again leading the way and none of the original teams from the 2001 season came back though New York and Los Angeles had teams again. Orlando probably would have had another team but after they got an AAF team, the Florida city that got an XFL team was Tampa with the Tampa Bay Vipers. I had season tickets and went to the first home game which was a loss to the Houston Roughnecks. I miss out on the second game which was a win against the DC Defenders which was their last win and only win as the Tampa Bay Vipers, they went 1-4. I had plans to take my dad to see the next home game against the St Louis Battlehawks but Covid shut things down and the league went bye-bye again. Later that year, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson along with his ex-wife and a business partner bought the league from The Rock's old boss. Sadly, the Vipers moved to Vegas and the New York Guardians moved to Orlando. I probably should root for the Guardians but like the Magic, yes their the closest team there is but it's not the same as having a franchise in Tampa. Their initial plans was to come back for 2022 but they later decision to wait until 2023. They tried to do a deal with the Canadian Football League but it didn't get through. The talks with the CFL likely delay the start. The delay allowed for the USFL to come back in 2022 with eight teams from the original league which included the Tampa Bay Bandits. However, all eight teams played in Birmingham. Unsure if it was because of COVID or maybe the USFL didn't want a repeat of what happened with the AAF. The Bandits finished 4-6 and had a chance to make the playoff but they lost to the New Orleans Breakers both times. During the offseason, the Bandits became the Memphis Showboats. Don't know why exactly other than Memphis being a hub city for the USFL as they opened up three more hub cities for the 2023 season. Tampa could have been a hub city with the Bandits and the Breakers but I don't call the shots. So both leagues got rid of the Tampa teams. I've watched both leagues this season but it's just not the same without a Tampa team. Could Tampa return to those leagues? Well the USFL said the Bandits would be on hiatus so they could come back. I would like to make a case for both leagues to increase the team to 12 teams. Give more cities an opportunity or in Tampa's case another opportunity and increase the games and the season to 12 games as well. I think 12 teams would be a good number to stop at, unless the league got mega-successful down the road. I would like to see more classic teams come back to the USFL like the Bandits (DUH), Denver Gold, Oakland Invaders (though where would they play), and Jacksonville Bulls. I could say San Antonio but their team name in the original USFL was the Gunslingers. Not happening!!!! I see them renaming for them to the Cattle or the Ranchers (my personal favorite). I like to say the Rangers but an MLB team in Arlington might have something to say about that. Speaking of names, I got to come up with a name for the XFL name for Tampa's possible new team.  The Tampa Rage? Tampa ThunderBolts? Those are names from the original 2001 season of the XFL. I'll go with the ThunderBolts though the Lightning might have something to say about that. The future of both leagues. It sounds like the XFL owners are preparing for season two, one of the things the Rock is cooking. The USFL well they started the second season but with News Corp settled with Dominion Voting for 800 million. That could be a problem for the USFL though News Corp and Fox Corp are two different things but would it trickle down to Fox Corp? I'll say it's a concern but not an immediate problem. Just hope they don't shut things down during the season. In the meanwhile, I trying to figure who to root for. Any suggestions? At least I got a Bandits T-shirt. I missed out on a Tampa Bay Vipers T-Shirt which I regret.
