What Beverly Hills Cop 3 should have been in my opinion

With the fourth Beverly Hills Cop movie in production, I've been thinking about Beverly Hills Cop 3 and how it was the weakest of the franchise. Some of the actors like Paul Reiser and John Ashton passed on the movie, Reiser had an excuse with Mad About You in production. Also, I read somewhere that Ronny Cox who played Bogomil read the script and said no maybe Ashton did the same thing. Don't worry Reiser and Ashton will be back on Beverly Hills Cop 4 or BHS: Axel Foley. The third movie was about counterfeit money made in a knockoff Disneyland park called Wonderworld, Inspector Todd was killed, and a Secret Service agent was in on the plan and the leader was the head of security of WonderWorld or was it the Secret Service Agent? Anyway, my version of Beverly Hills Cop 3 would have happened in Detroit with Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and Taggart (John Ashton) coming to Detroit. You're probably asking, Why would I call it Beverly Hills Cop 3 if they're going to Detroit? Because it starts at Beverly Hills with Taggart and Rosewood picking Axel Foley from the Airport and taking him to the Taggart household. They go to a strip club because why not they did it the first two movies. Taggart is reluctant but the Mrs. let's him go. They talk about the job and how Bogomil (Ronny Cox) has been busy as the Chief and Rosewood and Taggart haven't spent that much time with him since Bogomil got that promotion to Chief and Bogomil wasn't coming with them on the fishing trip. They have a good time and the morning, Rosewood isn't exactly hungover but close to it while Taggarts are making breakfast and Axel is checking on his fishing rod and rest of the equipment. The phone rings and Mr. Taggart answers the phone and it ends with Taggart "saying we'll be there" with Rosewood and Axel thinking the fishing trip is canceled which it was and that Axel is also called in to join in which surprised them. They go into the Police Department and in Bogomil's office to find Inspector Todd and Jeffery and a few other fellow Detroit officers there. It turns out that both Beverly Hills and Detroit's Police Departments along with LAPD in stopping this smuggling ring and about there's a meet in night in they hope to capture the smugglers and end the smuggling ring once and for all. In the raid, they found nothing of value and then all of a sudden men in machine guns ambush the police which included Foley, Rosewood, and Taggart. Most of the Bad Guys are dead but so are several officers including one each from the BHPD and the Detroit PD. Ultimately, in the debrief either it was bad intel or a mole in one of the Departments, and the main villains left for Detroit. Rosewood and Taggart volunteers to going to Detroit to see the case through. Bogomil and Todd allows it, Rosewood and Taggart are going to Detroit with Axel. Axel offers for them to stay with him it his apartment though they end up getting to hotel room though one of them does stay with Axel because the other guy snores (I'm let you decide which is the snorer). It's a big adjustment for Rosewood and Taggart to come from Beverly Hills to Detroit and have Axel and Jeffery as their guides in the city. They cross paths with the Bad Guys and get in a shootout and ends with Todd being pissed and telling Rosewood that he's more fucked up than Foley and that's saying something. After being yelled by Todd, Taggart compared Todd with Lutz from the Second Movie and Axel responds by saying that Lutz wishes he was Todd. They (Axel, Jeffery, Rosewood, and Taggart) go to a strip club to find Axel's CI who gives them the location. They go to the location to stake it out and realize that the shipment is leaving soon and the best chance they have is to go now. However, Jeffery calls it in before the four of them go in and get in a shootout with the smuggling crew. The leader of the crew is trying to escape from the back another guy or two. Axel and Rosewood go after them with Jeffery and Taggart covering them. As soon as that happens, the Detroit PD comes in and joins the shootout and half of the bad guys decide to surrender. Axel and Rosewood chase the main bad guy. They shoot and killed some bad guys including the main baddie who wounds Rosewood. Axel tends to his wound and the guy's second-in-command pops in, points his gun at them, and says "Goodbye Mr. Foley". However, someone shoots and kills him and turns out it was Inspector Todd who also tell Axel "Didn't I tell you to watch your back?," Axel laughs and they warp up the scene with Rosewood getting on the ambulance. The movie ends with Axel, Rosewood, Taggart, Jeffery, Todd, and Bogomil going fishing and Axel catching another Marlin. I think would probably have been better than the actual BHC 3 we got. I thought about killing off Jeffery in my fan fiction BHC 3 but since Paul Reiser is back filming the fourth Beverly Hills Cop I decided against it.
