Coronavirus, Andrew Gillium, and Brady to the Bucs

I hope everybody had a nice St. Patrick's Day considering the Coronavirus that's sweeping the world right now and it's going to get worse probably ruining Easter and Cinco De Mayo plans as well. I'll admit, this sucks. I had planned on Saturday going to the River O'Green and the Viper game with maybe a stop or two. That was gone since Tampa canceled the former and the XFL at first tried to play the games without fans but a concession worker and a player on the Seattle Dragons getting the virus, the XFL decided canceled the rest of the season with hopes of coming back in 2021 and paying the players their salary for the year. Also, the WWE will still have WrestleMania though in Orlando instead of Tampa and without fans. Tampa was screwed again because the city waited years to get the NCAA Tournament only to be canceled. Not as bad as Atlanta who had the Final Four this year. This isn't considering the Lightning who was second in the Atlantic Division/Eastern ...

Who should be the Bucs Quarterback in 2020? Part 2

Since the coronavirus has canceled the other leagues, the NFL offseason is the only game in doing anything (though it is going to be limited). Also, I felt like I left out some QBs in my first part of Who should be the Bucs Quarterback in 2020. So I decide to make a second part since A) Why not? and B) the NFL Offseason is the only thing going on (that and hearing that some players got affected by the coronavirus including Rudy Gobert's teammate Donovan Mitchell). Also, there's talk that ESPN will release 30 for 30 The Last Dance about Michael Jordan and the 1997-98 Chicago Bulls earlier than the June 2 release date first shown but that's for another post. Here's my list part 2 and we're going to start with a guy they won't get. Sign Tannehill: He's been a solid QB with the Dolphins. Granted yes he was traded away to the Titans where he Marriota's backup until week 7 and never looked back. He had a Pro Bowl season and won the Comeback Player of th...

The Sports Dominos fell and fell hard

Probably in not much of surprise news especially after the NBA suspended the 2019-20 season that other leagues and sports followed suit. The biggest one has to be the NCAA canceling the Men's and Women's Basketball Tournaments and Spring Sports that together. I feel sad for the teams that played and won their conference tournaments and got the automatic spot in the tournament only to find out that it's canceled. Also, I feel bad for the seniors because their careers ended in a blink and more than likely that's it for them with an expectation of a rec league. Maybe a handful will play in the NBA, NBA D-League, or Europe. At least with sports that haven't played like Baseball and Softball where four-year senior can redshirt this season and come back in 2021. NHL followed the NBA in suspending their season and the MLB ended their spring training games and delayed their season for two weeks. The XFL has ended their season and I should say do not compare them to the...

The NBA suspended their season, what's next?

I like to go back to last April when my dad and I pull off a sports doubleheader in Arizona. We went to see the Diamondbacks play in their opening day which was a spur of a moment decision by my dad which I followed. I had tickets to see the Suns game their final home game and since both teams are nearby, my dad figured why not see if we can get tickets to the D-Backs opening day. I was hesitant at first but went along and we did have lunch, go see the D-Backs play the Boston Red Sox in their Opening Day (the D-Backs won), and went the see the Suns play the New Orleans Pelicans, where the Suns won in OT. I wonder if the Suns regret winning that game because the Pelicans got the number one overall pick which was Zion Williamson. I had a ticket to see the Pelicans play the Magic on the 29th where I was hoping to get some selfies with Zion, Brandon Ingram, Lonzo, and Jen Hale again but it's unlikely to happen now (at least not until next season) since the NBA suspended ...
