What the FUCK Is Wrong with Antonio Brown?

Seriously? Antonio Brown hasn't played a down for the Oakland Raiders heck the season hasn't started and yet he's already burning bridges. Actually, he blew them up (napalm if you will) and I like to point out again, the season hasn't started yet. Even Terrell Owens didn't start this early, also it should be pointed out he actually played in Buffalo, unlike AB. At this point, I won't doubt if the next time AB plays it's going to be for the XFL (please not for the Vipers). The Raiders released him after AB said on Instagram to release him Saturday morning, one day before opening day for most teams and two days before the Raiders opening game. Not something any team wants to deal with. Well except for the New England Patriots who signed him to a one year deal hours after getting released by the Raiders, so much for my XFL prediction (for now). Just to make things difficult for the rest of the NFL. He'll play in week 2 unless he pulls some stunts like he did to the Raiders. Also, the Patriots didn't need AB to beat his former team the Pittsburgh Steelers 33-3. In an earlier post, I did say that if I were GM of the Raiders I would make a trade for Antonio Brown. Get a great receiver, put butts in seats when the move to Las Vegas (in 2020), and The Raiders had draft capital with five first-round picks in two years. However, the real GM Mike Mayock got him for a third-round and fifth-round picks, which they used for a receiver and a tight end. Man, I would have overpaid for AB if I traded for him and been fired. I like to criticize the Steelers for not getting first round for him but it looks like Mayock overpaid for Brown and Steelers got a steal. They got two draft picks and the Raiders got a headcase who didn't last six months with the team and didn't even play a down. Where to begin with the AB-Oakland saga? The scary part is Hard Knocks filmed the Raiders this preseason and stop filming before this came out about AB, Mayock, and the rest of the Raiders. Talk about a missed opportunity.  Also, I wonder if Las Vegas is happy this didn't happen in their city. Obviously, it started when the Raiders got him for a couple of draft picks in March. It was all smiles when AB went to the Raiders in March. Then came July when the story about Antonio Brown's frostbitten feet came out. He went to France for Cryotherapy (Seriously there wasn't a place in Oakland he could have got to? Actually, there is [I looked it up] and it has nearly five stars of 88 Google Reviews. It's called Refloat Boot and Cyro Spa if you ever in Oakland) and got frostbitten feet because he wasn't wearing the proper footwear. Ok freak injuries happened. Then there's the helmet issue. About 20 years ago, there was only two choices of helmets: The Riddell VSR-4 or the Schutt Air Advantage. Then in 2002, Riddell who at the time official NFL helmet provider introduced the Revolution helmet. Since then, there have been about a dozen helmet options. Around the 2018 season, the NFL decided to discontinued use a number of helmets including the VSR-4 and the Air Advantage. Brown had the Air Advantage. Instead of looking for a new helmet to wear, he bitched and whined about keeping his helmet. Even to the point, he painted his Steelers helmet to Raiders colors (OK he probably had someone painted his helmet). Heck, he got Schutt to make him a new Air Advantage Helmet but the NFL rejected it. To put this in comparison you had Philip Rivers, Drew Brees, and Tom Brady who played longer than AB and they wore the VSR-4 but they changed either last season and the beginning of this season. Dez Bryant wore the Air Advantage to begin with (he came in the same draft as AB) and he changed helmets multiple times. Jason Witten wore the Air Advantage for most of his career until his first retirement then after his attempt on Monday Night Football came back and now wearing a new helmet. Brady did complaint but has agreed to change his helmet. They were OK with changing but why not AB? Especially after he got a concussion with the Air Advantage during the 2015 playoffs by Vontaze Burfict, a linebacker for the Cincinnati Bengals at the time. During that time, AB miss practice to fight the NFL over his helmet. The Raiders decided to fine him 54 thousand dollars and send him a letter. AB responded by posting the letter to Social Media and when you thought it couldn't get worse he decided to get in a yelling match with Mayock, threatening to punch him, and calling some names. He had to be held back by Burfict (yes the same Burfict). Then the Raiders threatened to suspend him but had a change of heart when AB had an "emotional" apology to the team. Then when we thought this was all over the Raiders fined him over 200K voiding all of 30 million dollars in guarantees. Then AB via Instagram demanded his release which he got. All this for a guy who didn't play a down for them. He gave Youtube star and Steelers "fan" Urinating Tree plenty of material. Good news for the Raiders, they gave up nothing cutting AB because of the fines so they didn't take a salary cap hit though trading two picks might hurt depending on how those players do. Good Luck Patriots and when you thought it was over again, there's more news about AB this time more serious because AB has been accused of rape by his former trainer. The big question is What the FUCK is Wrong with AB? Was it getting paid and more fame turned him into an ASSHOLE? That Burfict hit he took? Both? He better behave otherwise his career is going to end the way Andre Rison's career ended.
