The Dems will not take away your damn guns

     I'm sure if you've read my last post you think that I'm not that liberal. I do have some conservative leanings and one of those leanings is the second amendment. I do believe in it and I'm not the only one (Vice President now Presidental candidate Joe Biden is a gun owner). However, I don't believe that should include military-style rifles like the AR-15. I believe you don't need anything more than a shotgun and/or hunting rifles to protect your family. If you feel like you need a military-style rifle then you're overcompensating for whatever. The only civilians that should be owning those weapons are the police officer who might have to. I think if you need to shoot a military-style rifle then go to a shooting range, I'm sure they would love the business and money (especially the money). That being said if you have an AR-15 or any military rifle and there's law banning sells of those Military styled rifles you should be able to keep it if a bought before the law takes into effect unless you commit a felony then bye-bye guns. Other than that, you can keep your guns just don't break the law. I can't imagine any scenario where The Dems if they take over and decide to take away guns from anyone without leading towards I hate to say a Second Civil War but I think it will lean towards well a Second Civil War. I'm pretty sure thousands of people will be killed if that would happen so I highly and I repeat highly doubt Democrats would outlaw the second amendment. People will mobilize and team one with one another to take on Federal Agents. This country isn't ready for another Civil War (I know things are bad now but not nearly as bad) heck I don't think this country is ready for another Waco and if the Federal Government does these gun raids, there's going to be a dozen different Wacos at the same time maybe more. Plus liberals would lose that fight, let's be honest. OK not all liberals are gunshy about well guns. Probably the majority are. I will admit, I don't have a gun and only shot a civil war era rifles (the one-shot ones), did do some Civil War Reenactments back in the day. Will I own a gun? Probably not and probably for the best. Though I will admit even if assault rifle sells are outlawed, it won't stop people from getting killed from guns and sadly it wouldn't stop mass shooting as a school shooting in Texas that killed 10 people with the shooter having a shotgun and a pistol. Of Course, the NRA will do everything in their powers to stop any type of gun restrictions even if most people in America actually support gun restrictions especially gun owners (that's right, even gun owners supports gun restrictions). Blame them for the reasons why there's no electronic databases for guns being sold which would make cops to solve murders (and the Republicans are supposed to be the party of "Law and Order"?). I know people blame Trump for destroying the Republican Party but he didn't start this. The NRA went from a gun club membership to a radicalized wing of the GOP in the 1970s. Even with mass shootings, they do anything they can prevent any gun restrictions saying that a way to prevent these mass shootings is having a good guy have a gun. We have those and their called police officers (I know I know but most officers are good though some do abuse their badge I admit). Funny I don't recall other mass shootings being stopped by anyone else besides the Police. Unsure how much of a force that the NRA will be in the 2020 elections because they have their own trouble in corruption, losing money, being investigated, among other issues out there. I doubt their going to be a big force in the upcoming elections but don't count them out either. Remember we doubted Trump would have been president and look where we are now. Just hope things get done before another Mass Shooting.
