Just when I finished my Laker post, Magic quits
Before I talk about the Lakers again, I wanted to talk about a slight change on this blog. I change the site name to Floridaguy.blogspot.com because there already was a Florida man blog. Now to the Lakers. Just as I was finished with my previous post about Lebron James and the Lakers and how Lebron was suppose led them to the playoffs and didn't, about an hour or so later Magic Johnson who was one of the main reasons why Lebron when to the Lakers decided to quit as the Lakers President of basketball operations and let the media and everyone else know before telling his boss Jeanie Buss. Really dude? She was like a sister to you and you're going to do her that like. Magic had a close relationship with the Buss family since the late Dr. Jerry Buss owned the Lakers. If you have seen the 30 for 30 about the Celtics-Lakers the first part you know. I think she deserved better than that. If Magic was a cabinet member for Trump, I could see him doing that and not blame Magic for doing that though Trump would go on a ruthless twitter rant. Don't get me wrong if he didn't want to do it anymore, he didn't have. I don't blame him for quitting but he should have talked to Jeanie Buss before going to the media. I know I didn't really talk about how the Lakers collapsed after a decent first half (Lebron getting injured and the supporting cast was bad, Again Lebron should have stayed in Cleveland to carry a team). I wonder if Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and the rest of the Looney Tunes would rather have Michael Jordan back in his 50's than Lebron? Too Much? Also, I heard that Space Jam 2 is having trouble getting NBA players because of shoe contracts, Really? Guessing it wasn't a problem in the first one. Let see if the Lakers get a free agent or two and get a high draft pick. Also, let's see where Zion goes. Personally, I hope he goes to Phoenix gave me another excuse to visit my dad in Arizona though I think the NBA will get the pick to the Knicks like they did in 1985 when Patrick Ewing was the guy (allegedly I should say). As for the Lightning, I can't with this team anymore. No excuses for this plus this isn't the first time (2016 and 2018 anyone?) Also, I don't believe in firing Jon Cooper. Give him another year.
