Trump and Fox News

I know I have come down hard on Fox News a number of times but it's deserved. Ok maybe that's a little too harsh but I'm sick and fucking tired of their holier than holy bullshit about how their better news channel then the "fake" mainstream media competition just because they (Fox News) support the president. Hey, just because you like to suck on the president's dick doesn't make you a better news channel/organization heck it doesn't make you a better patriot. Plus they're mirroring the propaganda news networks of dictatorships expect the big difference in dictatorships the news anchors have to read the scripts that are given otherwise the news anchors are executed on the spot and probably executed on-air (ie Howard Beale from Network). Fox News has no excuse, no one is holding a gun to any of the talents heads. Heck, is anyone being threatened of being fired for not blowing Trump on a daily basis? Just wondering. Granted Fox News was created because Rupert Murdock thought the mainstream media was growing more liberal and created the news network or should I said "news" network. I know I when there but let's face it they have been nothing more than basically the GOP News Network since they began airing in 1996 during the Clinton administration and I'm sure they felt like they struck gold when the Monica Lewinsky story broke out a few years into their existence. However, it wasn't until the Iraqi Invasion in 2003 that Fox News has become to most watched 24-hour news network and destroying American with the conservative BS (my opinion). I don't think they're the main reason why America is so divided (that's a big list for another post maybe) but I believe they are one of the reasons why we are. Plus Trump has given people who were on Fox News jobs like Heather Nauert who was the spokesperson for the state department and one time candidate for UN ambassador. Also, Bill Shine was the White House Communication Director despite being fired from Fox News for sexual harassment. Also, Roger Ailes was hired by Trump campaign after Ailes was fired because surprise, surprise Sexual Harassment. Trump knows how to pick them, doesn't he? I talk about Fox News again because the New Yorker Magazine printed a story about the relationship President Trump and Fox News which was highlighted by a story that Fox News buried well two stories really. Diana Falzone who was a reporter for Foxnews.com obtained proof that Trump had a sexual relationship with Stormy Daniels and did a story about it but her boss told her that Rupert Murdoch wanted Trump to win so she should let it go. Falzone also did a story about how the National Enquirer did a catch and kill to prevent the Daniels-Trump story from getting out and once again Fox News refused to run the story. Falzone was later forced out of Fox News. It's wrong for news organizations to kill stories just because. Granted Fox News, isn't the only news organization to do it, Geraldo Rivera was fired from ABC after ABC refused to air a story about the Kennedys and Marilyn Monroe. Also, Trump rates Fox News anchors based on loyalty and if you're wondering Steve Doocy is the more loyal at 12 compare to Hannity's 10. Guessing Doocy gives better head to Trump than Hannity. Sadly, the cozy relationship between Fox News and Trump has real-life consequences. Remember the shutdown, that was caused when Fox News criticize Trump for a deal he was about to make. He backed out. It isn't just causing the longest shutdown in history, it's the wall he promised promote over and over and hundreds of over as his main campaign promise. They talked about illegal immigration and how white people will be in the minority in 20-30 years and Trump listened enough to propose his freaking wall. It's sad that a news organization has the ear of the president and vice versa probably even dangerous again since Fox News is acting like the propaganda stations in dictatorships. They believe every word that comes out Trump's mouth without bother to checking to see if he's telling the truth or not (more than likely not). If you are a journalist and if your job is to make the president happy and you're not in a dictatorship country than you should not be a journalist sorry but not sorry. Can you imagine if CNN, MSNBC, other non-Fox News organizations were this close to Obama during his presidency? Fox News would have been on the attack. I should point out that DNC Chairman Tom Perez barred Fox News from covering the Democratic Presidential Debates. I disagree with this, two wrongs don't make a right plus it gives Trump an excuse to bar most news organizations which he's threatening to do. Seriously Tom? Fox News will get the footage and talk about the debates anyway and make fun of the candidates. Let Fox News cover the debates. Also, Fox News has support Trump through the Mueller Investigation. I wonder what they're going to do when the Mueller report comes out and like the Republican members of the Congress, Fox News has a choice. Continuing to support the president or said enough is enough and getaway.
