If Clinton was impeached, Trump would not be president (I don't think)

As you know Bill Clinton was impeached by Congress (voted down party lines with the Republicans being for it and all by a few Democrats being against it and the majority was Republican) but was cleared by the Senate. However, with the #metoo moment would Clinton been impeached for having an affair with a young intern Monica Lewinsky and lying about it under oath. Let's said Bill Clinton did get impeached in 1998 and was removed from office, what happens? I believe Hillary Clinton's political career doesn't even happen. She doesn't become a US senator from New York (or any other state), Secretary of State, or a Presidental candidate twice in 2008 and in 2016. She would disappear out of the limelight or does she? Yes it's possible and she could have divorce Bill after his impeachment and she tries to make her own path back to the power (or stay married and forge her own path) and/or White House but I highly doubt the American people would vote for her after her husband impeachment for any office. Heck, I didn't vote for her in those primaries in 2008 and 2016. Al Gore does become president and does run for a full term in 2000 like he did as VP however with the stink from Clinton's impeachment and removal from office, I doubt Gore wins in 2000 regardless if he pardons Clinton or not and George W Bush easily wins and those ten thousand Cubans in Florida who voted for Bush because of the Elian Gonzalez incident does not effect Gore like it did in 2000. In 2008, Barrack Obama has an easier time in the primaries and got the nomination quicker than he did (again No Hillary) and picks someone else as his first Secretary of State. As for 2016, honestly, I think more than five people would have run for the Democratic primaries without Hillary being there. I don't think would have been as much as the Republicans fielded (17 I believe no wonder Stephen Colbert did his Hunger for Power Games skit on his Late Show, and his character this a parody of Stanley Tucci's character Caesar Flickerman in the Hunger Game movies) but it would have been more than five. However, I don't know who would have run for the Democratic nomination if Hillary didn't run and unsure if I want to make a guess or two. So I'll say Bernie Sanders goes against Donald Trump for the 2016 election. I like to say Bernie would have won but I'm unsure, I believe he had more momentum than Hillary did and he was more popular. Also, I would have loved to see those debates. I think he would have because he didn't have the Wall Street connections that Hillary and Trump had/have and he would not have defended the NAFTA trade agreement Hillary did (because Bill agreed on that trade deal as president). You know what I'll say Bernie would have won. The bigger question would be would Gore pardon Bill? Which is also going to be the big question we may or may not find depending on what's on the Mueller report when it comes to Mike Pence. Gore and Clinton weren't buddy buddy and Gore probably would have not to pardon Bill because self-preservation plus it didn't go well when Gerald Ford pardon Richard Nixon (Ford lost his chance at a full term against Jimmy Carter in 1977). That's my best guess.
