I'm upset
I'm upset about a number of things. I'm upset that Florida voted Red and yes yes I know there are recounts going on but Gillum conceded and unless there was a bunch of votes not counted I have a sick feeling that Skeletor is going to be Senator. Also, yes I know I know it's been a while since my last post (over a month). I admit maybe I could have blogged more about Voting over and over and over and ok you get the idea. I could have told y'all to vote until I was blue in the face unsure if would you worked. Also, I could have canvass door to door (actually no I wouldn't have done that, I briefly did door to door as a salesman and no never again) or phone bank. Again, unsure if that would have worked as well because of the only true way for a person to vote is that person gets himself/ herself to vote rather it be through voting on election day, early voting, or vote by mail (which you would be thinking millennials would prefer that way). You could lead a horse to water but you can't make him/her drink. I just wished the millennials cared more to freaking vote. Though if Broward County had it's shit together at least Nelson would have to return for a 4th term instead Trump's ball licker Scott. I don't know if I blame their supervisor of elections Brenda Snipes or the 25 thousand people (OK I don't know if that was all in Broward County or statewide, please let me know) that couldn't find the senate race on their ballot or both. Leaning towards both because yes Snipes is an easy target because she's made a number of mistakes in the 2018 election but seriously how can you not find one of the biggest races on your damn ballot? I did (granted for another county but still and also I vote for Nelson because I'm not a damn idiot) plus maybe a few thousand might have missed that but 25K? I'm wondering if not only Broward County but Palm Beach County as well can get their shit together by 2020, I hope they do but remember these are the same two counties that also messed up in 2000 (remember that people, if you don't can't blame you there) keep in mind we're less than two years away from the next election (sorry people but it's coming). Well, it wasn't all bad news, the Democrats do have control of the Congress so let's take a look at Trump's taxes, protect Mueller, among others. Florida wise, I know I know but it looks like Nikki Fried will be the Commissioner of Agriculture so hopefully the state will have a fighting chance to survive at least a little longer and clean up the mess hopefully and most ex-cons can vote now will the passing of Amendment four. Here's to a better 2020.
