It's time for the blue wave in Florida

Anyone remember 1998? I know I was in 8th grade in Booker T. Washington Middle School (before it came an elementary school) and I got my first taste of politics when I (in my homeroom period if I recall) voted for the governor's race again for my homeroom class. I asked my mom in the car coming home I should consider voting for which was Buddy McKay who was the Lt. Governor for Lawton Chiles and Jeb Bush. Unsure what she said exactly about Bush but I know it led me to pick McKay and led me to be a Democrat. My class overwhelming voted for McKay however Florida picked Bush and hasn't looked back with 20 years of Republican rule. I first voted in 2002 and I voted for Bill McBride. I'm admit I would have voted for Jeb Bush if Janet Reno won the 2002 primary because of the Elian Gonzalez situation where Reno ordered agent to remove Gonzalez from his cousin's house to be returned to Cuba. That also cost Al Gore the 2000 president elections because ten thousand Cubans living in South Florida voted for Bush (and Gore lost by over five hundred votes in Florida). Would Jeb Bush find a way to help his brother W win if the Gonzalez incident didn't happen? I wouldn't doubt it. I told my teacher that I would vote for Jeb than Reno and she said "then move to another class," luckily McBride won in the primary. I was able to stay in the class until I graduated. Sadly Jeb won reelection and I voted and hoping and later disappointed when Jim Davis, Alex Sink (McBride's wife), and Charlie Crist lost their bid to be Governor (well for Crist it was a re-bid because he left to run for Senator and probably wrecked Alex Sink's chances of being governor). It's not just the Governor's races it's been rough for Democrats in statewide since well 1998 unless your name is Bill Nelson and he's going against Skeletor Rick Scott who again I should add WOULDN'T BE INDEPENDENT. He'll be a Trump ass kisser and yet people think he's a better option. To people who think Rick Scott will independent and a better option than Nelson then I got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. Speaking of Trump ass kissers, Ron Desantis won the battle against Adam Putnam. Of all the elections for Governor, 2010 hurt the most. It also mirrored what would later happen in the 2016 Presidential Elections though the big difference Scott won the popular here (barely but still) and Sink didn't have the resume that Hillary Clinton had but still had more experience Skeletor who was just a rich guy who decided to run for the heck of it and to ride the wave of the teabagger movement. I wonder if I do run again I should yell "JOBS, JOBS, JOBS," and see how many votes I get. Also I blame my fellow liberals for being either content on what was happening in 2010 or being too lazy to vote or a combo of both really. I know I said it a number of times here but I'll keep saying it. If you don't vote, A-holes like Scott and Trump win elections that they have no business winning. Don't know how it was in 2010 but I remember in 2014 in the three South Florida counties that had 30 to 35 percent vote. That's not good. If those numbers were at least 50 percent, Charlie Crist would have beaten Scott and stay been governor and not in Congress (I think, math wasn't my strongest subject but 15-20 percent increase in those counties would have at least been closer if not a Crist victory). Also congrats to Sean Shaw on being the Democratic Attorney General nominate. I'm hoping that he does investigate Scott over those deleted voice messages. Also support local candidates like Debbie Bellanti (Florida House district 60), Adam Hattersley (district 59), Phil Hornbeck (District 58), Ashley Harrington (District 64), Dianne Hart (District 61), and Fentrice Driskell (District 63) among others. I don't how things were before that A-Hole Scott took over but I think it's safe to say that things have gotten worse (Did you really expect me to said anything else?). Education said taken a big blow, Red Tide is getting worse, and we had another mass shooting in Florida in Jacksonville that cause two innocent people their lives. Also Florida could be under water in 15-20 years maybe sooner, we can't wait much longer for the Republicans to get their heads out of their ass and I know I don't want to move from Florida. Also I wish I was apart of the blue wave in November (or at least in the primary losing to Kathy Castor) but now I going to try to help out what I can. Also I'm proud of my high School classmate Roy David Walker's run for Commissioner of Agriculture, I wished he was a part of the Blue Wave but what can you did other than endorse his opponent Nikki Fried which he has and in which I will. Now that's vote in November and lead this blue wave against this Red Storm.
