Seriously Rubio and Cruz?
As you know the Republicans/the Trump Administration are defending the policy of separating kids from their families when the family are detain by Custom agents for illegally crossing the border including those who are seeking asylum. Sadly one of those people who is behind separating families is someone whose actually from Tampa Bay area (Clearwater to be exact and a graduate of the Academy of Holy Names) Homeland Director Kirstjen Nielsen. Honestly, I think there's better ways to prevent people from coming here illegally without separating families. This is a total dick/bitch move. I'm sure they wouldn't like if Trump and company were separated from their kids and grandkids (though Trump might be separated from his sons and daughters and grandkids depending on the outcome of Trump's and his son's legal problems, Ok mostly his. Also couldn't Vanessa Trump [Don Jr's ex] file for complete custody for their five kids and also take them away from the grandfather? OK). Also there's a story about Jeff Merkley whose a two term senator from Oregon who tried to visit a facility who refugees are being held but was denied and the guards of the facility called the police on him. Can you imagine if that happened to a Republican Senator during the Obama administration? Impeachment vote would have happened. Also here's an interested interesting fact: Obama's actually deported a lot of people and I'm guessing didn't separate from families in the process. Too bad the Republicans don't know or don't care about that because they don't want him to get any credit and all of the blame (Republican slogan: when in doubt blame Obama). There's a couple of senators that should be ashamed that this is happening Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio. Their families along with some of my relatives and many others fled Cuba either during the time of Batista or during the time of Castro who overthrew Batista to gain control of Cuba. Cruz's dad (and no I'm not going to accuse him of anything Trump's accused of him, it's bad enough for Cruz's dad his son is a son of a bitch) applied and got political asylum after his student visa expired because of the Cuban Revolution. You know back in the days where this country welcomed immigrants. As for Rubio, his maternal grandfather was nearly deported when he re-enter America without a visa but the immigration officials had a change of heart and he still allowed to stay. Guessing that's not going to happen under current leadership? Also Donald Trump's great grandfather Frederick as kicked out of his home country of Germany when he returned to visit his sick mother because he left at age 16 to avoid mandatory military service. He fought for several months to stay but was denied. Also I should point out Frederick came in with his family and able to leave with his family (must be nice considering what his great grandson is doing). Hey, we're all from somewhere. I have ancestors who came here to escape from the potato famine (Ireland), a great grandfather who escape Hungary because he wanted no part of World War I, and as pervious mentioned relatives who fled Cuba. Honestly I will admit, I am very tempted to put the numbers of the Children Social Services of New York City and Washington and also wherever Sam Sessions (Jeff's son) lives. Also wherever Cruz and Rubio have their kids. I know it would be a dick move for me to do that (also the whole two wrongs don't make a right saying) but if the administration is going to continue separate families of those who are trying to emigrate here then maybe we should consider separating families of those who work in the Administration.
