Reality TV
I know I know I would have bigger issues to worry about than Reality TV like education, the environment (especially if I can kick out the EPA chief Scott Pruitt), criminal justice reform, immigration, DACA, among others. Also telling Rick Scott to F--K off and enjoy the governor's pension (yes I endorsing Bill Nelson because I trust him more than the Red Skull). Also Scott, be honest you don't care about public education other than security (granted still important but shouldn't be the only thing). Also I would like to point out I will not go after Trump because of the Apprentice because the Apprentice wasn't as wild as some of these other Reality TV shows out there. Granted not all Reality TV shows are bad though personally at times I wish they were more honest than they currently are. One hand I understand why they do it (I do have a degree in TV/Radio Programming from HCC) however on the other way editing can hurt a person or a number of people. OK you can make the case the person on the show made themselves look bad. We can go back and forth on the issue and end in a stalemate. Also I probably should add I did tryout for the Real World (and got rejected) a few times. If elected to serve in Washington, I wonder if I can complete in Champs vs Stars challenge. Probably not after this post but if MTV/Bunim Murray overlook this, Hint Hint MTV. I believe producers in Reality TV make out the rules as they go along like on MTV Challenges especially on Rivals 3 where Johnny Bananas screwed over his partner Sarah (who by the way is the reason why he won that season) by taking her share of the money (137.5K aka 7.5K more than what Michael Cohen paid Stormy Daniels). Granted Bananas isn't solely responsible (but seriously asshole I haven't forgotten about you) the producers from MTV (or is it Bunim Murray let me know at crowleyforcongressfl@gmail.com) deserve the blame as well for adding the twist where instead of the partners share the prize money like the did in the previous two seasons of Rivals (which Bananas made it to the finals twice before winning once). The producers add a twist where if one partner gets more points than the other, they have control of the money. Isn't that illegal after the Charles Van Doren-twenty one scandal? Isn't there rules against this? I believe after Sarah voted him elimination on Exes 2 (also I like to add his other allies Evan and Leroy was screwed him over Bananas but he's seemed to overlook that, stay tuned if he does that with Tony) the producers colluded with Bananas to screw over Sarah. I know I went but it seemed fitting plus like Trump, Bananas has a devoted following who might let me have it. Tony good luck on Rivals 4 and if you do make finals with Bananas and the same twist comes up, quit. I also have a problem with violence/bullying and alcohol being free flowing on the these shows. Seriously how does producers allowed Kailah to continue on the show (The Challenge Vendettas) and Kayleigh who she bullied left? If I had my way, Kailah would have got home and Kayleigh would have the option to sent home Britini and Jemmye, who also bullied her by throwing her stuff off two stories. I have more examples but I save them for a later post. However the biggest problem is alcohol being it seems like unlimited because the producers want bad behavior from the contestants which leads to ratings but to what end? Also if a contestant has a drink/substance problem, will the producers pay for their rehab? Will things change if someone dies on these shows from alcohol poisoning. I would love to hold a hearing if elected to get Reality TV Alums and producers about this. I know I would have other things to worry about like increasing money on education and paying teachers that Republican leaders don't give a shit about because most of sent their kids to private school (you know it's true).
