When is it the time to talk about Gun Control?
I wasn't planning about talk about Gun Control until the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School at Parkland Florida. First off prayers to families that lost loved ones and those who were injured and they're family and friends. I know people will said isn't this too soon to talk about gun control? My answer is When is it a good time to gun control? and Why Wait? I don't know about y'all but I'm sick and tired of waiting especially hearing about it's the 18th school shooting of THIS YEAR AND WE'RE ONLY HALF WAY THROUGH FEBRUARY. Plus we still recovering from the Vegas shooting, the Texas church shooting, and Pulse Nightclub shooting. Seriously how many more people need to get gunned down before congress does something? People will said "you're only attacking Republicans," While true that the Republicans keep saying "let's talk about this later," Democrats aren't innocent in this. How many shootings from there been since Columbine in 1999? Has both parties had a chance to be power between those 19 years? and has anything been done to since then? We need to something about this. Also I like to see congressmen and senators reject money from the NRA (who endorse and paid mostly Republicans though do support some democrats). Hey I'm for the second amendment and the Democrats won't take your guns away (what some Republicans have said) however we need to gun control and restrict who have own guns and who shouldn't (background check) and the politicians should tell the NRA take their money and shove it up their ass. Even if the gun control laws only save a few lives a year, should it be worth it? When are we going to said enough is enough?
