OK this Conservative Hypocrisy has gotten out of hand

OK, it's been out of hand for a while now since somewhere between Obama being president and Trump accepting the nomination and defending his behavior, the fact his companies went bankrupt five times (Count them five), and attacking John McCain. It wasn't just the people/voters Republicans leadership turned a blind eye on that behavior which would have killed the careers of any other politician if he or she did 1/10 of what Trump did. Example Gary Hart was the front runner for the Democrats nomination for President in 1988, it was found out he had an affair and ended his run and then Joe Biden who was the front runner after Hart but he was busted for plagiarizing and that ended his run. Sadly, it didn't end when Trump was President, it got worse. When the Republicans were demanding Al Franken to resign for inappropriate behavior but defended Roy Moore who spent the mid-1970's picking up and attacking High School girls, who was he R. Kelly (too soon? also no one has ...

The shutdown has lasted over a month now

Honestly, I'm really getting tired of this shit though not nearly tired of this shit as the people who aren't getting paid after all this time. Let's face it we are all one way or the another well expect those in Washington who are continuing on this fight. I'm up to the point where I'm like a parent who dealing with siblings fighting each other. Anybody been told this by your parents "I don't care who started it, someone end it," or something similar? I think I've had at least once with my conflicts with my sister. That's how I feel about the fight in Congress and I do mean both sides yes even the Democrats. I hate to put out the whole both sides things but I'm getting sick and tired of this. People are struggling to make ends meet and our government is playing politics with peoples lives. Not even to reopen the government then continue with the border security and Bitch McConnell too busy sucking on Trump's dick to allow voting t...

Gayle Sierens: NFL broadcaster pioneer

Or should I just say NFL pioneer or broadcast pioneer? Guessing either or is fine. Anyway, in the final week of the 1987 NFL season (yes during the time she was still with News Channel 8) Gayle Sierens was the first female to call an NFL game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Kansas City Chiefs and the last to do this until Beth Mowins on Opening Week in the 2017 season and since done a few more games since. Of course, if you were from the Tampa Bay Area you would know Gayle Sierens as a long time anchor with News Channel 8 mostly with Bob Hite until her retirement in 2015 which included a moment where Hite returned briefly to anchor with Sierens one last time. How does this come on about? Before she was a news anchor, she started her broadcasting career as a sports anchor which included News Channel 8. She also did some stuff for ESPN before being a news anchor. Which happens quite a bit that someone moves from sports to the news like Keith Olbermann (who's now b...

END THE SHUTDOWN NOW!

Right now, I am so sick and tired of the Government Shutdown which is in its third week. People are suffering right now and they aren't getting paid just because Trump had to listen to Fox News and Rush Limbaugh about his damn wall that Mexico ain't paying for. Some are on furlough until there's a deal and some still have to work without pay. Working or not, people are trying to the best they can Sorry Trump Supporters who needed to learn the truth (if you bothered to listen). I still like to know if the word compromise was on Trump's book "The Art of the Deal", wasn't it? Please let me know. I know a number of y'all will said I going to blame this shutdown on the Republicans and for lack of another word for this yes I do especially when Trump actually said at first he would own it but has since back out of doing and blamed the Democrats for this repeatedly and to the annoyance of half of this country (and the other half still thinks he's doin...

People I want to take selfie/pictures with

To continue on my New Year goals on writing on non-political topics I decided to make a partial list of famous people I want to take a selfie/picture with. I'm sure I have over a hundred or so people I want to take, so I'll spare you the whole list. If you've seen my Instagram page (JCTampa) you can see I have taken selfies/pictures with some famous people including local TV Newscasters, Sports Anchors/Reporters, Pro Athletes among others. However, I still want to add more because one why Not? Also, I'm not into taking selfies of myself (though I have), not into taking pictures of foods (though I have), My Travels (that one I working on) so I got to find ways to post on the Gram. So far, I have 200 posts exactly and so far haven't posted this year. Here's my partial list, some I'll have a reason for and some I just posted just cause. Presidents: It would be the mother of all selfies/pictures if I could get one of the ex-presidents of the United States...

THE WALL WON'T F'IN WORK

Also, Mexico won't pay for that damn wall. I feel to have to repeat it to those conservative snowflakes. WE ARE GOING TO PAY FOR THAT DAMN WALL. I know there are Trump supporters who created a Go Fund Me page to fund that wall and raised 19 million and counting (as of this post). Hey, more power to them because I do not want to pay for that damn wall and I don't believe it's right for Trump to shut down the government forcing over eight hundred thousand people out of work. They and their families suffer as his fat ass won't freaking compromise and they didn't need this before the holiday. Was Compromise a part of his "Art of the Deal" book (I don't know, anyone read it)? Also, what happened to with owning the shutdown Trump? Another lie, what a freaking surprise. Also didn't give me this bullshit about the Democrats are obstructing. The Republicans led Congress until Jan 3rd and they couldn't give a deal done. Democrats didn't have the...

The Steelers should trade Antonio Brown

I admit I'm a big sports guy but since I started this blog I've hardly talked about sports unless it's politically motivated like the situation of Colin Kaepernick sitting down and later taking a knee during the national anthem. Also, there concerns when all but two of the black NFL coaches got fired during this offseason (Hue Jackson from the Cleveland Browns was fired during the season). I don't have a problem with the firings of Jackson, Todd Bowles of the New York Jets, and Marvin Lewis of the Cincinnati Bengals (the first time a team from the AFC North not named the Browns fired a coach in the decade). Also, I know he's white but I didn't have a problem the Buccaneers firing Dirk Koetter but them keeping Jason Licht as General Manager Really? However, I don't think Vance Joseph of the Denver Broncos and Steve Wilks of the Arizona Cardinals should have been fired. I think coaches should have three seasons before getting fired for the most part depen...

Jon Stewart: A man who took no BS

For my first post in 2019 and starting off one of my goals of 2019 to talk about topics outside of politics (sort of), I going to talk about Jon Stewart who was the Daily Show host from 1999-2015. He was the voice of a generation. I wish I didn't use Jon Stewart in past tense. I wanted to title this Jon Stewart: the Pioneer of Fake News or Fake News of Comedy but for starters, he wasn't the original host of the Daily Show (shocking but true) and no one does fake news better than Fox News (unless your a Republican and Trump who thinks anyone against Trump is fake news, I think you're idiots but I can't change people's minds). Nothing against Trevor Noah, I do like him and he's the same age as me but Jon Stewart was the guy that made the show his own. Before Trump called CNN "fake news", The Daily Show with Jon Stewart were self-proclaimed leaders of fake news and wore it as a badge of honor though at times it seemed that the Daily Show actually did...
