And they called us Snowflakes part 3 Nike Edition

Yes, I'm going to talk about Colin Kaepernick and his deal with Nike. I know I'll a little late to the party but it's still an issue like why Kaepernick hasn't gotten a contract offer. People are burning their Nike stuff, a city in Louisana (Kenner City) is banning Nike products from its city, and a college (College of the Ozarks) deciding country over company when the strip Nike products over Kaepernick being in the ad. With the president of the school saying that Nike is promoting an attitude of division and disrespect toward America and if Nike is ashamed of this country, we are ashamed of them. No Jerry Davis, Donald Trump promoting an attitude of division in America. Also, College of the Ozarks is forcing their student-athletes to stand for the anthem. Anyone see the irony of this?  Also, the players aren't protesting the flag they protesting the mistreatment of black people in America. I admit I'm not a big fan it kneeling but I also didn't want p...

RIP Burt Reynolds

I know I'm late to this but wanted to give tribute to Florida's adopted son Burt Reynolds who died on September 6th. Plus I wanted to take a little break from talk politics though he did cross paths with Donald Trump (which comes later). He was actually born in Lansing, Michigan and his family moved around quite a bit until they settled in Rivera Beach, Florida when Burt was 10 and before his death, he lived in Jupiter, Florida and Florida became his adopted home (though also lived in Hollywood for a time I'm sure). He also played a little college football with the FSU Noles and was Lee Corso roommate. He was a big supporter of FSU Football. Ironically, he played a character named Gator in a few films (White Lightning and Gator where he played Gator McKlusky). In Gator, he gave his mentor and guy who inspired him to be an actor Watson B. Duncan a role of Georgia Governor's press secretary. Initially, Reynolds after calling quits on his football career continued his...

9/11

I think things have been divisive the last couple years or so. I will admit I am not helping things with my liberal crap and trashing Republican Leaders but I think one of the few things we agree on his 9/11 was a horrible tragedy and we want to be protected from another 9/11 from occurring. I wasn't planning to do a 9/11 post but here I am and also, I'm trying not to go political on this post and also I'm, trying to nice on this post as well (except for those assholes who hijacked the planes and crashed into the towers, Pentagon, and who were about to attack the White House and of course Osama Bin Laden because screw them). I'm sure most of us know where we were if not all of us when we find out about the attacks or sadly a number of people saw the second tower get hit live on TV or in person if you were in New York with the Twin Towers or Washington DC with the Pentagon or Pennsylvania where the fourth plane crashed. I was in Tampa Bay Technical High School as a ...

Does the GOP Leadership have guts anymore?

Or did they gave their guts, balls, privates, spines, and other things to Trump? I'll be guessing the latter. They should have stopped him before and during the primaries especially after Trump attacked John McCain for only being a war hero for being captured (also the whole calling Mexicans criminals and rapists as well). Last I checked the medals that John McCain earned like the Silver Star and Bronze Star aren't that easy to earn. Also didn't Trump avoid serving Vietnam? Either it was Bone Spurs which I doubt, his daddy got him out, or Student Deferments. Leaning toward his daddy got him out. Sadly one of McCain's friends Jeff Sessions' forget that and endorse the Angry Orange anyway. Some friend he was though in fairness McCain did vote for Sessions as Attorney General (I wished he didn't but would have been awkward he didn't, would have been interesting in the Senate). Also wanted to mention that Meghan McCain wasn't happy to see Jared and Ivan...
